Michigan Winter Glamping Elopement

Embracing the tempestuous of nature. Embracing the growth of a family with an open heart. Embracing one another for warmth and spirit. Cynthia and Jacob’s elopement could be defined by Embrace. 

These two, along with Jacobs two children, ventured up north to a remote part of upper Michigan near Traverse City. Nature Michigan Retreat was the perfect backdrop for a cosy glamping weekend. After venturing up to the top of the hill for their ceremony, the sky opened up into the most beautiful gentle snow storm. The kind of weather that caused me to fall in love with northern Michigan. 

Lisa, genius behind Linnaea Floral and The Elopement Co foraged a bouquet from the winter landscape, while Krystle Waivo tucked golden dry leaves into Cynthia’s dark locks.

Speaking of Cynthia, she is also known well as the talented singer Vienna Teng, of whom I was a huge fan before ever getting the privilege to meet her. Her spirit is just as beautiful and uplifting as her music. Be sure to check her out!
